Under the theme Future Primitives, 7 artists, designers and architects will offer different investigations into which essential elements will play a role in our future living environment - Biennale INTERIEUR 2012.
Curator Lowie Vermeersch: “We want to create a platform showing innovation and diversity. These rooms were created especially for Interieur, and they allow us to take a few risks. The rooms will explore the boundaries inherent in different visions of our future experience of interiors, and what the impact may be of various natural, technological, cultural and political developments.”
The ‘rooms’ will serve as places to eat, meet and socialise and will be designed and realised by some of the current big players in the design world:
David Bowen (USA) | Ross Lovegrove (UK) | Greg Lynn (USA) | Makkink & Bey (NL) | Muller Van Severen (BE) | Nendo (JP) | Troika (UK).
