London Fashion Week Day One, Top Pick: Zoe Jordan

Zoe Jordan’s Autumn/Winter collection was a firm favourite of Adela Cechova, Futurespace Magazine’s LFW blogger.

Inspired by the ancient and weathered lands of Andalucia, Spain, Zoe Jordan’s show was one that particularly stood out today.

The clean, white and ivory dresses worked well alongside the other colourful pieces, consisting of vibrant mixtures of oranges, pinks, autumnal chestnut hues and burgundy shades.

With a cocktail of light knits and masculine tailoring, heavy lace and wool detailing, the theme constantly played on contrast. There was also an ongoing interplay between androgynous and feminine. Light monochrome dresses supported tough, rugged finishes, handsome accompanied ethereal, and structure paired with languidity.

Lavish textures, relaxed silhouettes, intricate touches and clean graphic lines are Zoe’s signature touch, which is sprinkled throughout the collection. The relaxed, effortless style is always consistent in Zoe’s designs as she always stays true to her carefree, bohemian spirit.
