It’s September so it’s time for all the design shows. One of the less well-known exhibitions is ‘The Living Room’ which showcases a selection of British-designed and made furniture, products and prints.
The show, in east London, differs from other better-known shows in presenting the designs as a typical British living room.
The Living Room with feature the return to popularity of the sideboard with Young and Norgate’s Zimmer Sideboard.
“We are very excited to have been selected alongside a star-studded lineup of designers’” says Dave Young.
Young and Norgate is a small group of designers and craftsmen who create contemporary, tailor-made, limited-edition furniture.
The Living Room is curated by Jonathan Krawczuk and Alyn Griffiths and runs from 17 September until 2 October at the gallery space adjoining Luna & Curious boutique, 24-26 Calvert Avenue, London E2 7JP
