We are pleased to continue our Christmas 100 list, with ten gadgets selected by DJ Phunky Phresh. All ten are astonishingly unique and eclectic. They are also state of the art, functional and are brimming with “happiness” and colour. None of them disposable but collectible! You have to love the truly amazing, ”Asparagus scarf”.
1. Aiaiai, The TMA-1 headphones were designed in collaboration with several professional and renowned DJ’s. Tested in studios and on stages all over the world, this is a specialized piece of equipment for the hardworking musician. The limited edition Fool’s Gold line brings a new colourway and special technical features to the TMA-1, not found in the standard version.

3. Carry and protect your iPad in it’s-gotta-be-Pendleton style. Native American-inspired geometrics are woven in our Northwest mills of 100% pure virgin wool.
4. The Gummylamp; an homage to the most iconic candy the world has ever known. It looks and feels like an actual Gummy Bear, just 100 times bigger and infinitely more useful. Squeeze its belly and, instead of getting your fingers sticky, a high-powered LED light switches on, illuminating the immediate space around you.
5. MATHMOS LAVA LAMP STRING LIGHTS. Colour changing LED string lights – available only direct from Mathmos. These 15 light string lights are made of edge lit acrylic with mirror finish. The lava bubbles are hand etched and they carry the Mathmos original 1963 branding. String up anywhere around the home for all year round use.
6. Cereal Bowl Light . Ingredients: cereal, “milk”, touch sensor, metal spoon, bowl, and happiness. Bowl Colors: Lime Green, Electric Blue & Hot Pink. The coolest lamp that you will ever own, touch the spoon and watch it glow.
7. The Harman Kardon® GLA-55 two-piece loudspeaker system. No desktop audio system before it has merged art and science so beautifully and so functionally. Every detail, from the facets of its bassreflex enclosures to its custom chrome tubing, has been designed to complement its astonishingly high sonic quality. From the powerful bass of the Atlas™woofers to the crystal-clear highs of the aluminum tweeters to the touch-sensitive volume controls, the GLA-55 system is audio luxury. It’s also extremely versatile, and can be used with your computer, iPod, or virtually any audio device with a 3.5mm output.

8. Ringo’s always been about Peace (and Love). For Canvas That Cares, he’s contributed his original “Peace Sign” artwork to adorn our black leather/canvas Earthkeepers® Bionic® Canvas boot. Only 75 pairs will be made available to the general public, which makes it an instant rarity. But what makes it even more mythological is that Ringo has personally autographed every pair (something he really doesn’t do anymore). This über-collectible boot comes in men’s size 8 only (Ringo’s size). So if you’re an 8, you could wear them. But we’d think twice about that. Remember, these are RARE. And there’s a lot of crap out there to step in.

9. MEDICOM TOY is holding a special exhibition geared towards showcasing its BE@RBRICK figures, entitled BE@RBRICK World Wide Tour 2.
10. The Asparagus scarf. This scarf is made from hand-dyed cotton to look just like a stalk of asparagus! It was featured in my senior BFA show along with the work you see pictured. The scarf measures approximately 6 inches wide by 5 feet long. It has stitched details at the top and bottom.
